Sculptra- Liquid Face Lift
Sculptra is an FDA-approved bio-stimulator injectable that stimulates your skin’s own natural collagen production to help restore its inner structure and to increase facial volume that has been lost to aging or illness. Sculptra works subtly and gradually treating deep lines, ceases, and folds over time for a more youthful-looking appearance. Sculptra has been used with great success and has been coined by some as a "Liquid Face Lift".
Sculptra may last 2-3 years once the series of treatments are completed. So while it is a bit more costly than other fillers, patients often justify spending a little more for the time in which they can enjoy results. Most fillers only last a year at the most so Sculptra is considered a great investment.
Sculptra does not require skin testing prior to use and it may be safely combined with other favorite facial treatments such as Botox, Dysport, Restylane and Juvederm, to give you an immediate improvement while the long term effects of Sculptra are being produced.
As with most injections, side effects, though minimal, could possibly occur. The most common are redness, swelling, bruising and discomfort around the treated area. Before treatment prep
Before your treatment of Sculptra, avoid using Aspirin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications (such as Ibuprofen) or high doses of vitamin E supplements. These agents may increase bruising and bleeding at the injection site.
