What is Laser Hair Removal?
Laser Hair Removal is a non-invasive, effective solution for removing unwanted facial and body hair. It works by emitting a gentle beam of light, which passes through the skin to the hair follicle where it is absorbed by the pigment in your hair. The laser energy is transformed into heat that targets and destroys the hair follicle leaving the surrounding skin unaffected.
Am I a good candidate for Laser Hair Removal?

Your practitioner will best be able to develop a specific treatment plan for you when you come in for a consultation.
What areas can be treated with Laser Hair Removal?

Does Laser Hair Removal hurt?
Some patients may feel a slight discomfort with each laser pulse, sometimes described as the snapping of a rubber band on the skin. This discomfort resolves in seconds and can be minimized by the use of a topical anesthetic. Your practitioner will explain your pre-treatment options at the time of your consultation.
How many Laser Hair Removal treatment sessions will I need?
There are a number of factors that can affect the success of a series of laser hair removal sessions. On average most people will require anywhere from 6-8 sessions depending on the area of the body. Your practitioner will best be able to advise you on the number of sessions once having assessed the area.
Is Laser Hair Removal permanent?
To date there is no laser hair removal system that will permanently remove all your unwanted hair. It is important to note that some hair will grow back; however the hair that does grow back will be a reduced amount and finer in texture. Most patients see a reduction of 70%-95% after completing a series of treatments. Yearly touch up treatments may be needed to maintain results.
